Statement Regarding the World Of Ink Project
Dear Artists, Partners, Exhibitors and Attendees,
It is with great sadness and a profound sense of responsibility that we address everyone who has been part of the World Of Ink project over the past years.
After many months of exploring every possible option to preserve the project, seeking financial solutions and making every effort to continue our operations, we have reached the difficult conclusion that the company responsible for organizing World Of Ink is no longer able to continue its business.
As a result, the company will be filing a petition for bankruptcy before the competent Polish court in accordance with the applicable provisions of Polish law.
Accordingly, World Of Ink Convention 2026, scheduled to take place on 20–22 November 2026 in Poznań, Poland, has been cancelled and will not take place.
We kindly ask that no further payments be made to the company in relation to World Of Ink Convention 2026 or any future editions of the event.
World Of Ink was born from a passion for tattoo art and a vision of creating an event unlike anything the industry had seen before. Our goal was to bring together the world's best artists, exhibitors and tattoo enthusiasts at a festival that would represent ambition, creativity and the continued growth of the international tattoo community.
The first edition was our attempt to turn that vision into reality. It was an exceptionally ambitious undertaking that required substantial financial investment, extensive organizational work and significant logistical commitment. Every decision we made was driven by our belief that we were building something that would continue to grow for many years.
Unfortunately, reality proved far more challenging than we had anticipated. Despite investing our own financial resources, obtaining external financing and spending many months trying to stabilize the company's financial situation, we were ultimately unable to achieve the financial stability required to continue the project.
For a long time, we genuinely believed that a solution could still be found. We explored different scenarios, held countless discussions and continued working toward saving World Of Ink until the very end.
Sadly, we have now reached the point where the company is no longer able to continue its operations or satisfy all of its financial obligations.
We are not looking for excuses.
As the organizers, we accept responsibility for the outcome of this project and sincerely apologize to everyone who placed their trust in us.
We apologize to the artists, partners, sponsors, exhibitors and every person who believed in our vision and chose to become part of World Of Ink.
The planned bankruptcy proceedings will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Polish bankruptcy law. If the competent court declares the company's bankruptcy, further actions concerning the company's assets, liabilities and creditors' claims will be carried out within those proceedings. The company's assets will then be administered by a court-appointed bankruptcy trustee (syndyk), and the Management Board will no longer be authorized to independently manage or dispose of the company's assets.
If you have made any payments to the company, we recommend that you retain all relevant documentation, including payment confirmations, invoices and any related correspondence, as these documents may be required during the bankruptcy proceedings.
Should the court commence bankruptcy proceedings, information regarding the procedure for creditors, including the submission of claims, will be provided in accordance with the applicable provisions of Polish law by the appointed bankruptcy trustee or through the official channels of the proceedings.
This is not the ending we ever hoped for.
Our dream was to demonstrate that the tattoo industry deserved events organized with ambition, courage and international standards. Although the final chapter of this project is deeply painful, we hope that World Of Ink will also be remembered for the passion, determination and vision that inspired its creation.
